IFC METROPOL Strengthened its Bond Team

In the framework of the development strategy for the bond and derivative department, IFC METROPOL has created a new business unit – Debt Capital Market Administration, headed by Vladimir Kutsev. This unit will arrange public debt financing for electric power companies. The latest ruble bond issues by Irkutskenegro and RusHydro in which IFC Metropol acted as the leading co-organizer have proven the qualifications and expertise of the team joined by Mr Kutsev.

Vladimir has an excellent reputation in the corporate environment and investment community. Prior to joining METROPOL, he arranged a series of transactions including the following:
• issue of ruble bonds for the Mortgage Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan,
• restructuring bond issues of OJSC Inprom,
• actively participated in syndicating the first issue of loan participation notes for CJSC Azerbaijan Railways.

Professional experience:
Prior to joining METROPOL, Vladimir Kuntsev worked for ATON Investment Group.
August 2008 – August 2010, IB TRUST / National Bank TRUST, Director, Co-Director of the Directorate for Extraordinary Situations in Capital Markets
August 2007 – August 2008, Invest Boutique Link Capital, Vice-President, capital markets

Novgorod State University named after Yaroslav the Wise (Veliky Novgorod, Russia)
NYU Stern School of Business (New York, USA)
