Investment and Financial Company METROPOL is the leader of FLB futures market
In late September 2011, Investment and Financial Company
METROPOL was ranked in top of the list of FLB futures market
operators at RTS stock exchange (FORTS). The company is a market
maker of the market of futures contracts on federal loan bonds
portfolio аccumulating approximately 67% of its trade turnover. IFC
METROPOL managed to reach this result only in several months: the
company entered the new market in late July 2011 and is already a
FORTS rating leader.
Arthur Plaude, managing director of the Department of debt
instruments and derivatives of IFC METROPOL states:

noticeable recently we keep on moving forward steadily. Thanks to

consistently strengthens its market positions in the debt capital
market”.
It is worth mentioning that IFC METROPOL actively facilitates the
development of FLB futures market that began to form in February
2011, when contracts for these securities started to be traded in
the RTS Futures and options market sector. The company together
with the stock exchange organized a meeting with market players in
September 2011 and discussed trade strategies. Beside this it
developed analytical instrument – Metropol hedging calculator and
Metropol duration management calculator that enable clients to
optimize the work with futures contracts covering FLB
portfolio to the greatest possible extent.
Investment and Financial Company METROPOL was founded in 1995. It
provides brokerage services, participates in reorganization deals,
sales and purchases, carries out anti-crisis management of
enterprises, assists in attracting debt and share capital, in asset
sales, in financial and corporate business consulting. The company
is experienced in public (IPO, SPO) and closed securities
placement. National Rating Agency granted IFC METROPOL a maximum
individual credibility rating of AAA.
