President of Association “EurAsEC Business Council”, the Head of METROPOL Group of companies M. Slipenchuk and First Deputy President of Association “EurAsEC Business Council”, Director General MBC Corporation O. Mikhailenko took part in the press conference of Association “EurAsEC Business Council”

The joint press-conference of Secretariat of the Eurasian Economic Community and Association “EurAsEC Business Council” about the new objectives of Association “EurAsEC Business Council” in the view of present-day development of Eurasian Economic Community took place in Moscow on April 25, 2008.

In the conference took part the EurAsEC Secretary General T. Mansurov, Chairman of Coordination Council of EurAsEC Business Council O. Soskovets, President of Association “EurAsEC Business Council” M. Slipenchuk and First Deputy President of Association “EurAsEC Business Council” O. Mikhailenko.

Participants of the press conference told about the main problems facing the Euroasian community in present times and about the ways of reforming of the Association for the purpose of its transformation into an effective mechanism, called to promote strengthening and expansion of mutually advantageous cooperation between the countries-partners within the limits of the Community.

Mikhail Slipenchuk shared the experience accumulated by METROPOL Group during the work in the Russian-Vietnamese, Russian-Japanese and Russian-Turkmen Business Councils. “METROPOL Group of companies continues the business diversification and gives a special attention to the activity at the foreign markets. In this connection we seriously concerned to the offer to head the Board of Business Council and we are aimed to provide its active and effective work", - Mikhail Slipenchuk told.

According to the participants’ of the press conference, EurAsEC should follow the course of the European Union which created uniform economic space.
