FinMarket published a ranking of Russian banks’ leading performance indicators for 2008
The FinMarket Information Agency, which is part of the Interfax
Information Services Group, has published a ranking of the leading
performance indicators for Russian banks in 2008. The agency relied
on its own approach to the study, which explains why some of the
figures differ from those accepted by accounting standards.
Its 2008 results placed Obibank Commercial Bank LLC in:
- 190th place by total assets (9.064 billion rules),
- 230th place by shareholders’ equity (1.102 billion rubles),
- 210th place by pre-tax profit (133.7 million rubles).
All of these indicators displayed a positive growth dynamic
compared to the previous year’s results.
