M.Slipenshuk. the head of METROPOL Group of Companies, elected chairman of the Investment board of Technological platform “Ecological development technologies”

The founding conference of Technological platform “Ecological development technologies” took place in the main building of Moscow state university named after M.V. Lomonosov on November 29, 2011. Mikhail Slipenchuk was elected the chairman of the Investment board of Technological platform “Ecological development technologies” by the participants of the conference.

In his speech delivered to the participants of the event M.Slipenchuk specified: “To reveal the potential of the technological platform we will have to solve the main problem: the order of collaboration between authorities, big business, the government and private investors. We should use different methods to motivate both state and private capital in order to make the ecological platform work. And the most important point is to start with pilot projects to get rid of all inaccuracies and to use this base for exchanges of viewpoints. We are ready for active work”.

Technological platform “Ecological development technologies” was formed following the initiative of the Ministry of economic development, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Russian State Hydrometeorological University, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov and National Research University “Higher School of Economics”. Russian Geographic Society (RGS) acted as a coordinator in the course of platform preparation. Technological platform “Ecological development technologies” is included onto the list of technological platforms approved by a governmental committee. A wide-ranging pool of business, administrative, scientific, educational, social and ecological organizations was invited to engage in the platform’s activities.

The formation of the list of participants is currently being finished and the offers regarding the format of further collaboration are being gathered in the framework of implementation of initial measures of the technological platform. The chairman of the organization committee of the Foundation conference of Technological platform “Ecological development technologies” is S.K. Shoigu, the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation. Among the members of the organization committee one can also name N.S. Kasimov, the dean of the faculty of geography of Moscow state university named after M.V. Lomonosov, A.N. Shokhin, the president of Russian union of manufacturers and entrepreneurs, A.N. Chilingarov, a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and others.
