The analysts of IFC METROPOL are the most precise, and the company ranks among top ten Russian investment companies that are open for mass media

IFC METROPOL was successfully mentioned in the 2011 yearly ratings of financial companies.

In November METROPOL became a leader in the rating of analytical departments on Slon.ru portal. The rating was prepared by Grigoriy Bolotin, PhD in economics from the Higher School of Economics. The scientist developed a special methodology of portfolio modeling based on target share prices offered by the analysts of investment companies, and evaluated the profitability of such portfolios. The researcher believes that among 9 tested forecaster teams IFC METROPOL has the most precise forecasters.

In October 2011, Medialogia, a research company working in the sphere of mass media, prepared its regular rating to name Russian investment companies with the widest public participation. IFC METROPOL was listed on the 9th place, thus becoming a stable member of the top ten over the years. The rating was based on the media favored index (MFI) that reflects the presence of a company in the media area including both quantitative and qualitative aspects. MFI depends on the influential capacity of mass media, nature of mentioning (positive or negative) and also takes into consideration the advertising equivalent and audience outreach by the media. The citation rate of the companies in mass media is also taken into account (the total amount of media mentioning of IFC METROPOL and the Group in general increased by 28% during the 11 months of 2011 compared with analogous indices of the year 2010 to reach a total of 11,574 citations as of December 1)
