M.V. Slipenchuk Meets Buryat Students in Saint Petersburg Mining University
Today, in the Great Hall of the Saint Petersburg Mining
University, M.V. Slipenchuk, head of METROPOL Group of Companies,
held a traditional meeting with Buryat students attending the
university under a target program since 2006.
Today there are over 50 Buryat students; first graduation is
planned for the spring of 2011. Answering the questions from the
audience, M.V. Slipenchuk noted that METROPOL Group of Companies is
willing to honor its contractual obligations to the students. He
noted, however, that a job at the group’s mining plant in Buryatia
requires outstanding academic and practical achievements.
“We will offer jobs to all worthy graduates under
the target program”, said Mr Slipenchuk.
After the meeting, each student received an issue of the
Metrofan corporate magazine and a memorable gift from the Lake
Baikal Preservation Foundation.
