Delegation of METROPOL Group headed by M. Slipenchuk takes part in the XII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
XII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum takes place in
St. Petersburg from June 6 to 8.Delegation of METROPOL Group of
companies consisting of Head of METROPOL Group Mikhail Slipenchuk,
Head of Equities T. Hawk Sunshine, Head of the IB Department IFC
METROPOL Ekaterina Akhanova takes part in the work of the
Forum.
XII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is organized
under direction of the Ministry for Economic Development of the
Russian Federation and at support of Administration of St.
Petersburg. The forum is one of the main international events for
discussion of actual world economic problems. The main objective of
the Forum is to contribute to search for global economic problems
solutions and to establishment of partnership between political and
business leaders of the world community.
120 official international delegations and more than thousand
representatives of the Russian and foreign business take part in
the Forum. Within the limits of the Forum plenary sessions,
conferences and thematic round tables will take place. Leading
Russian and foreign experts in the economic sphere will present
competent estimations of actual tendencies of global economic
process. Forum is called to promote development of economic
relations of Russia and the Russian companies with foreign
partners.
During the Forum political leaders’ and head’s of the largest
international companies speeches will take place. At opening of the
Forum the President of the Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev will
address the conference.
Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Elvira
Nabiullina, Governor of Saint-Petersburg Valentina Matvienko,
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Sberbank
Herman Gref, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Alexey
Miller, Minister of Finance of Germany Peer Steinbrück, Secretary
of the U.S. Department of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez, Managing
Director of the World Bank Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, President of
Microsoft International Jean-Philippe Courtois and others will take
part in the International day of the Forum.
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Sergey
Ivanov, Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation
Andrey Fursenko, Chairman and CEO RAO UES of Russia Anatoly
Chubais, President, Chairman of the Board, Bank VTB 24 Mikhail
Zadornov, President of the Bank of Moscow Andrei Borodin and others
will take part in the discussions of the Russian day of the
Forum.
The feature of the XII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
is its cultural component. Under the auspices of the Forum
international and regional exhibitions, sports shows and
presentation.
