IFC «METROPOL» took part in the IV International Forum «The Arctic: Present and Future»

The delegation of IFC «METROPOL» visited IV International Forum «The Arctic: Present and Future» organized by the Interregional Public Organization «Association of polar explorers» in St. Petersburg.

The forum brought together more than 600 participants from different regions of Russia, united by one idea - full cooperation and support of public policies aimed at the development and socio-economic development of the polar regions.

Among the participants - representatives of public authorities, businesses and public organizations, each of which supported the discussion within the large-scale problems and narrowly focused on the future of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. This year Forum was attended by representatives of 7 countries.

The main outcome of the Forum is the resolution with suggestions and recommendations to be forwarded to the authorities of the Russian Federation for the improvement of legislation and government regulation in the field of sustainable development in the Arctic.

The Forum guests also visited the exposition, stands which showed the best examples of socio-economic and technological development of the polar regions, their identity and culture.
